OnX Enterprise Solutions Ltd., one of Canada's largest providers of business software, says it has acquired MIC Partners Inc., an information technology software specialist based in the Greater Toronto Area. Price was not disclosed in a statement yesterday announcing the deal.

Both companies provide technology services, with a focus on Hewlett-Packard Co. computers and software.

"The acquisition of MIC will solidify OnX's position as the HP partner with both the broadest and the deepest set of skills around the entire HP portfolio of products from notebooks to Superdomes and now inclusive of their extensive software offerings," OnX president Ed Vos stated in a news release.

Headquartered in Markham, just north of Toronto, privately owned OnX has offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Cambridge, Ont. and Ottawa.
