STAFF REPORTER
A Brampton man who police say had a video camera hidden in his bathroom was arrested on child pornography charges yesterday for the second time in a week.
Peel police found the camera, which they believe was being used to photograph girls as they used the washroom, in a Brampton home on July 30.
Leon Marin, 42, was arrested on Aug. 11 and charged with voyeurism and possession of child pornography. He was released on bail after a court appearance on Aug. 13.
Marin was arrested again yesterday and charged with accessing child pornography, making child pornography available and breach of recognizance.
He was scheduled to appear in court today for a bail hearing.
Investigators have not yet identified the victims in the video footage and would like to speak with anyone who has been at Marin’s house in the past year.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel police at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3490 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- TIPS (8477).
