A Guelph-area company is pleading with consumers not to buy any of $250,000 in stolen liquor, meat and snow tires, even if times get tough.

"I know the economy is bad and everyone will settle for lower costs," said Randeep Sandhu, a co-owner of a Load Solutions outlet."But these things ...They're stolen....

"It's tough ... We knew people were watching the area for a while, but we never called police."

Surveillance footage of the Saturday night heist at a Load Solutions lot at 7294 Mason Rd. in Puslinch Township shows at least six thieves arriving in two cars to cut their way into a locked compound. They stole four trailers which held $31,000 in winter tires, $23,000 of chicken breasts, $51,000 of Bacardi liquor and $143,000 of striploin beef.

Police found two empty trailers yesterday in Brampton and Mississauga.
